This is Eve.

Game's been out a long time, there are a lot of people who are fasicanted by Eve but are too intimidated by it or the hype/controversies surrounding it. And of course, Star Citizen and Elite Dangerous.

Regardless, you should give the trailer a look. Coz its seriously the best damn trailer I've seen Eve Online has ever had, its also one of the best trailer any online/MMO game ever produced. It captures the magic and essence of Eve Online as experienced by its players 100x better than all of its past trailers combined, period.

Great job at making a slow (most time boring) game look like hyper fun. If only EvE was that much fun all the time...

I think EvE is like WoW.

People will drop in and out to try other MMOs, but they will always go back to EvE even if it's not the best one out there.

(nostalgia, amount of time dedicated to their ship, etc)

Oh man.... I am having flashbacks of Destiny loading screens after watching that. Not good. EVE is not my type of game anyways.

I really like that trailer, it reminds me of the epic scale of the B-R5RB video.

I really enjoyed my time playing EVE when I tried it, but I never really got into the PVP side of the game. I don't really have the time now to justify paying a subscription, or to play and get a plex each month.

Sometimes I think about picking up EVE.... then I remember the monthy fee, the grindfest, and the fact I'll probably get wrecked by people who've been playing longer than me anyway, ...

At this point there's really no reason for new players to sign up for EVE. Even if you have a corp to help you it's still going to require unreasonable amounts of time to play with your corp.

If you don't have the time to begin with then there's really no point.

Fantastic trailer, but Eve is basically a playable spreadsheet.

Regardless of how it's marketed, this is not a game which you can play just whenever you want to and get something out of it. You HAVE to play it daily for hours , making it one of the most time demanding games ... Not a game I'll ever pick up, that's for sure.

Oh, come on now derp. Eve Online is a quality game fo' sho'. However, some of the drawbacks highlighted here by the negative nancys do have some validerpy (validity.)
