Yawn, if all the days are like this, looks like steam gets it butt kicked by other summer sales.

I tend to agree. It seems that more and more Steam is being less aggressive with their "deals", while other online retailers are becoming more aggressive. It's almost like the roles have been reversed over the last couple of years.
A lot of games on sale were cheaper right before the "sale". Nothing want so far that I haven't already bought. The site if being overwhelmed with hits so keeps going down. Annoying but to be expected.
If that's the first day, then it kinda sucks. I hope its not an indication of things to come. Steam is down for me at the moment. I cant log onto the store.

I like the show. Not sure how I feel about the game though. I've watched several gameplay videos yet I'm still undecided. :/ I've watched a few quick looks for the game and I think it will do to pass the time for a week... and for £6 I can't really argue. That said Steam has crashed so... :(
for those interested greenman gaming has bioshock infinite at 50% off and they also offer a coupon that if it works on sale items would net you a price tag of 24$. oh and yes gmg gives you a steam key.

i think you're forgetting the fact that there is always an influx of new pc gamers who never once experianced a steam sale. The deal is for those dudes still wet behind the ears.

Yeah I know. It's still a fine deal but I just think it's funny how it always gets put on sale for $5 every time.

yes RL is good fun, but I wouldn't doubt if it goes on sale for a lil more at some point during the sale, we shall see.
