K, Well, There is over 40 gb free disk space on the hard drive, and the game I am trying to install is Empire Total War. I'm using Windows Vista and my connection is more than potent. I did download the demo when it was released and played it to great satisfaction, but now that I've bought the full version boxed set it doesn't install nor download. Just keep popping up "This Game Cannot Be Installed" and I should be able to, my system does more than meet the requirements.more info please

Yeah, It just says "Steam is now downloading Empire: Total War. You can check "My games" to follow the progress. But there is no progress, It never even starts, actually, it never even appears!! It's not like it's stuck on 0% or anything, but IT NEVER APPEARS, no matter what I do. Steam is a bit weird isn't it?did you try using the code in steam without the disc in

Here is a novel idea.........Contacting the makers of what ever software you are having problems with. It will probably get you an answer faster then posting it on a random forum where all you will get are a bunch of people guessing.
I have a solution to this issue:
Once in Steam click on the Ghosts banner. Go to the Store Page of COD:GHOSTS. It will say, highlighted green, that you have the game and there's a PLAY NOW option. Click that and start downloading for a second. Stop your download. Insert your Disc One. Click REINSTALL.
I hope this helps everyone.
See you in game.
