Hey all.

I'm starting to look into a standing alternative for my pc gaming. I sit all day at work, and then sit some more at home. then go to bed.

I was looking at some products from Ergotron (specifically this). I was wondering if any of you do something similar, or have any tips. DIY is also an option, but I'd rather spend the money on something of quality, than stack a bunch of boxes up on top of my desk.

My main concern is that these Ergotron products won't handle me using a mouse and keyboard the way a typical gamer would. They're more designed for the office and work environments.

Thoughts?

Thanks guys!

At my old job, one of the employees had a adjustable workstation stand installed - he could raise it if he wanted to stand or lower it if he wanted to sit. He seemed to like it and he never had any issues doing his work while standing or sitting.

I don't see how you'd be limited in m/kb use while standing, but I suppose that would only be confirmed once you try it out
