Just wondering if anyone knew about this issue. I was thinking about installing SMAC onto my laptop, but then I remembered that SMAC is OLD. I was wondering if anyone knew how SMAC would work with window's 7? I know about the Window's 2000/XP update that came out awhile ago but I don't know if this applies to window's 7 as well... I have been unable to recieve any information from EA, who published the game, and I really want to know if I can play my old favorite game again.
I am not very knowledgeable on computers. How would I go about running compatibility mode? EDIT: Just installed it and played it for like an hour. Only minor sound glitches and the absence of movies. Both are unimportant in the long run.
