Red Alert 3 missing skirmish maps problem

I opened red alert 3 to play -as always- however, I noticed that all skirmish maps were gone!!! the map list was empty!!!! (though the campaign worked fine).

the strange part about this is that I tried to uninstall and install 3 times, did not help much.

any advice about what should I do?
