According to nzone.com my computer meets the recommended requirements of bf2142 except for the ram.

So if I added another gig of ram i should be able to play on the recommended setting shouldn't I?

My question is what are the recommended setting are they everything on medium or medium-low? can someone post an ingame screenie of recommended settings?

Even if adding a gig of ram wont make it so i can increase the graphics setting would it help with the game overall?

Recommended requirements performances differ from game to game, usually a fair estimate is that if you meet the recommend you can run everything on medium at ~1024 resolution. You have a 6200 graphics card so I wouldn't really worry about upgrading memory, more memory will probably let you run textures at higher res and will reduce texture loading and hard drive trashing but gameplay performance will be pretty unaffected.

ok you dont need another gig of ram.  it is a waste of money atm for you.  you should spend the money on a graphics card.  i reccomend the cheap but very good x1950gt

Well I think a 7600gt would work pretty well with that system. Depends on how much money you want to spend, you could go up to x1950pro and still have it perform without much of a bottleneck.

what slot is your 6200? there are agp and pci-e variants of x1950pro so hopefully you have one of those slots. As for power it's how many amps you have available on each rail that's important. Only way to check if you don't already know is to open the case and look. 400w at least.

well I can play it, not to well with my 6150 but my processor is stronger than yours so I think you should get one of the dx9 cards one of the people here have recommended, but wait a month or two, the price is going to drop soon.
