I want to build a robust PC to do a lot of virtualization and gaming (a nice intel CPU non K model, lots of RAM... 32GB at a minimum, solid PSU, and so on) but the last time I read hardware websites was a long time ago so my hardware knowledge is way too old.

So please recommend some really good/great/outstanding (:P) hardware websites to get up to speed so I can come back and start asking for suggestions with some knowledge in advance!

Thanks.

Hardware heaven, Toms hardware, guru3d, techpowerup, anandtech.

Or you could just ask this board.

That's not very good at all. It does do a decent job at explaining each component but the parts and price thing is terrible, it even says it itself, you'll do better if you do your own research. Still for someone who's a beginner it can give some good tips but not good for "latest" information. There's one place no one has mentioned, gamespot.com/forums. Most new technology gets posted here.

Awesome, thanks... @kraken2109 : I'll come back later and ask here but I like to gather some knowledge first.
