Sup guys, I downloaded BF4 off Origin, the free Game Time event thing where they are letting you play BF4 freef or one week. Anyways, I am having this issue with the game, it hiccups, the frame rate drops randomly, its not dropped frame rate its something else im not even sure.. the FPS can be smooth and all the sudden it'll hiccup and have a quick slow down even with settings turned down , turning the settings up and down, this issue still persist.

I have latest AMD Catalyst drivers, I am on Windows 7 64 bit, I don't have anti virus programs running in the background or much processes running in the background, these are my specs:

-Overclocked 7870 GHZ 1150 mhz shader/1325 mhz memory clock

-i7 920 at 2.7 ghz quad core stock speed

-6 gb of DDR3 RAM

-Windows 7 64 bit

any reasons why this is happening?? I have latest Punkbuster update too.

Try turning off cpu core parking.

I used a free program called parkcontrol.

If this doesn't work, try turning the overclock off on your card.
