Possible Hardrive Error?

On a computer I was looking at I came across this error after the Windows XP Loading screen, anyway here is the error maybe somebody here has come across it before or knows of it.

Stop: 0x00000024 10x00190203, 0x81318888, 0xc0000102, 0x00000000

Could be a hard disk error, or maybe a memory error. Hard to say though...that's pretty cryptic.

Ya that is what I figured, they told me they had the same hardrive (computer) for 4-5 years so I guess I am not all that suprised by it at all.

dude, that just happened to me a few weeks ago, i tried reformatting, i tried so much crap to fix it. you can't. i researched forums for hours and hours and hours on that. its broken man. i ended up buying a whole new pc all together. but yeah its broken, cant be fixed. just happened to me, i knwo all about it. actually has to do (usually) with a corrupt or deleted system file, usually services.exe which controlls the start up enxtries and stuff, anyways, it loads then goes to the blue screen, if you wait a few hours, itll slowly go on to the log on screen, few hours later, more hours itll load the desktop, but itll never get passed the wallpaper, cpu will run at 100% trying to load that broken harrdrive
