people still play payday 2?

was thinking of getting it on steam... but dont have anyone on my list that owns it.... do people still play/are there still servers?

Payday 2 sold almost 2 million copies. It was highly successful. Many people play it.

However, my advice, do not play above "hard" or "very hard". At lower levels, players will just kick you and it will become a frustrating experience.

I wouldn't say no, people still play on the original one too.

edit:The community is fucking toxic though.Like most MMOs it primarily consists of elitist neckbeard scambugs.Be prepared to get kicked,A LOT

My recommendation,play with a few real life friends or at least people you know if you want to have some actual fun.

It sold 2 million, but the erm... "YARRRR" commnuity is far greater in size.... still a very popular game... but the "YARRRR" community almost makes you wonder why you should buy and play on official servers... but I would...

Game is great. I bought it when it came out and played mostly with friends to avoid the bad community. Unfortunately, if you're going into it by yourself, you may have trouble finding good people to play with as others have mentioned.

is this game even worth it? i own the first and didn't like how you basically rambo every heist. I wish it was more like hitman blood money heist type of game where you sneak and infultrate and get away with all the money and leave no traces.

It has stealth missions and on most missions the option to stealth.

They are boring though (for me anyway) you may enjoy them though.

I bought the game some time ago but the degree of stupidity in more than half of the community made me stop playing after 2 maps ... same as with the first game ...

My friends and I bought the Payday games and they are pretty awesome. Glad I dived in.
