hey guys, im looken to buy a new computer, and ive found the one i want, but it appears that if i ask the retailer to put vista on to the pc, it will be an OEM version. now i went googling, and ive got a general idea what OEM is, but what differances will there be in the OS if i get an OEM version?

OEM is no different from retail once installed. The only difference is the fact that with OEM, it's tied to the motherboard. You can reinstall the OS, but if you change the motherboard it breaks the license agreement. Retail doesn't have that limitation; you can still only legally have it active on one PC at a time, but it's not tied to any hardware.
