Made me son a PC Desk this week.

Going to paint it Minecraft green then add some Minecraft decals.

It's his birthday on Sunday :)

I remember my attempt to make a decent desk, I got the drawers OK but everything was so uneven and out of place I just scrapped it.

Make me one please.

Hehe, I tried to make the handles look "Creeper" ish. Not sure if that will come across.

If you paint the eyes/mouth look im sure he will get it :P.

very nice build quality, altho i am going to give some constructive feedback

the center looks sort of trapped and almost claustrophobic; arms would be at the edges of the quarter circle and may be uncomfortable when ontop of the desk, for me anyway.

nice, i don't think i could even build a chair.

He's only 12 and skinny there's plenty of room for him.

It's 1600mm by 1600mm, bigger than it looks.

Chairs are more difficult.

Looks good and saved a lot of money. When I set up an eyefinity build i needed a desk like this for 3 monitors to go on. Way to expensive! I ended getting wall mounts.

Very nice and good to see parent do something like this for their children. I think he will be really happy to see it.

That monitor....is it not too big? It may hurt his eyes later I think since he wouldn't sit far enough away from the monitor.

That's a huge screen for desktop use. His eyes will strain and go bad pretty soon xD

He's allowed 1 hour of gaming a day. (lol, I'm such a huge hypocrite) and he gets 1 and a half hours of homework a day........boooo!

Looks great. I'd like to make my own desk, I'd like to build one which integrates a USB HUB, audio connections, and have a noise dampened apartment to hold a tower PC with ventilation.

What materials did you use?
