King Kong - silver screen problem!

Alright, I'm playing with Kong for the first time, chasing Ann. After I fetch the dinosaurs off and start running against the wall, as soon as I need to jump to Ann the screen turns silver. The sounds are there, I can call the menu and resume, but I can't continue! I tried reloading, it won't work. It turns silver every time I get there. I'm using Win 7 64bit.

Any help is appreciated.

Well, you can try looking at this instead of that silver screen.
