i was thinking about gettin a new comp cuz mine is broke and the "family" one is never open... is this good? Video card is a little weak for gaming purposes (though not 'bad'), and you should get 2 gigs of RAM for Vista, but otherwise good.

hm...I agree with theragu40. Kick up the RAM to 2GB, and upgrade the Video card, to at least a x1600 or 7600 if you plan on "gaming".

What are your intentions with this computer? ( overall its a good compeuter)

ahhh.. thats goin to be expensive.. i went to dell.com and that was about 1450 bucks.. o well, ill just save up longer.. minimum wage sucks.. lol.

Dell? Well, I think, going to the 7900GS automatically makes it a dell XPS700, which starts out @ 2K dollars. You should look into building your own computer. It's a lot cheaper.

Damn, 2K for a 7900GS. That's a huge rip-off. If you have any friends I would ask them for help in building one, even get a price form a local PC shop first.

Hah. My local PC shop is run by a fat old man that reads comics, and a skinny white guy who looks and acts like a sterotypical nerd...o_o

...it would be a lot cheaper if you had it built for you, or by you.

Lower the hard drive space unless you really need it. And get a better video card.
