Someone posted them on System Wars if you haven't seen them yet.

Visually, this will be a proper next generation game.

What are you most excited for with the game?!

They need to sort out the boss battles, they kind of sucked in Wticher 2. (the final) endboss could be beat on dark mode by just spamming grenades, very easy.

I'm hoping they finally get an action-rpg combat model that works well and is fun.

Well, the new Thief looks just as good in relation to your other topic.

Personally I liked the Witcher 2's combat. Although it lacked the depth of Witcher 1. Rather than completely remove the stances they should have worked them in better.

A particular aspect I didn't like was how disconnected the weapons felt in the world. I hope they connect better like Dark souls.

Yeah I know, I was just going off what he said about "visually" and "proper next generation game".

To me that has already being reached with Tomb Raider and even Witcher 2.

Hated the combat and the whole console feel of the 360 degree movement in the witcher 2. I rather have first person or over the shoulder type play, not something that looks designed for an xbox controller.

The amount of detail is far greater than The Witcher 2. Suits the open-world design. I'm very impressed but not surprised. I can't wait.

Can someone actually go to work for me so I can have enough time to properly play an RPG?

I haven't done so for years...

Looks great. Hope they improve the ui though, in Witcher 2 I was straining my eyes even on a 27" monitor for some of the text.

And the save game bloat which caused the game to crash, hope that's gone as well.

If they can keep the plot tight and improve the side quests this game could be their masterpiece until Cyberpunk 2077 comes out of course :P

This is a perfectly example of what can be achieved when you cater solely to current hardware. Looks superb.

What do we know about TW3 so far? And I am not talking about story, since I don't want any spoilers, but rather what features are returning, being ditched, being improved, and are there any new ones?

I am sort of nearing the end (still a few hours at least, I am sure) of TW2. I loved both 1 and 2. I would have to give the edge to 2, though they both have their faults, and 2 was not an improvement in every way.

This will probably be the game that I upgrade my GPU for. Not that my GTX670 FTW is bad.

PS - I hope we can change his hairstyle again, since that one looks awful. I actually liked the one in TW2 you start with and never changed it, but the shaved sides in those screens looks silly.

I'm excited for the gameplay. The graphics are pretty good - though not as much of an upgrade as I had anticipated. For an open world game, they're right when there should be. Compared to linear games, the graphics are muddy and restrained technically. From an artistic standpoint, it's fantastic and infinitely more interesting and inviting than the new Dragon Age title coming out.

I wonder if the 290x can run this game on high when it releases?

Yes. It will.
