It's about time, maybe my next OS will be Linux based, frankly Windows 8.1 is pretty solid one but go nothing special that I need except for DirectX support.

I know, but I don't really feel like I've missed out on a whole lot of games to be honest. I may reinstall win 7 on my spare HDD for watch dogs whenever that comes out though.

Sure, if you don't game that much on the PC then a free OS is way better than paying for one that costs 70-100$

I game a fairly decent amount, mostly indy and classic games, with a "AAA" game here and there. But yeah, If I can get most of the games I want to play on a free OS, it makes more sense than paying big bucks for one.

I game at least 30 or more hours a week and the games I do that with are already on Linux. It helps when the most popular titles on Steam are for Linux as well. I am sure I am missing out on a game here and there, but it doesn't bother me. I just spend more time playing other games.

And by extension, Cyberpunk 2077. Most splendid this is.
