Ok I made a thread a few weeks ago about my pc stuttering and looping audio when playing certain games. Seems to be doing it for most games now and I finally downloaded speedfan to see what was going on and I've been greeted with this...

temps

Is that my GPU hitting 86 degrees on the desktop!?

O____o I'm worried.

Specs:

E8200 2.66ghz

GTX 460 1gb

3gb ram

Windows 7 32 bit

EDIT:

Ok well apparently that Temp1 is a common bug with speedfan. But I checked it again whilst sitting on the desktop and the CPU usage is around 60% and it shows both Core temps hitting nearly 60C... I'll get back with some data whilst playing games.

GPUs can hit temperature up to 110C (nvidia gpus, im not really sure about ati) and gpu overheating will not cause audio loops to my knowledge. It looks like your CPU is getting on the hot side.
