im sure it is patched for xp , but i just want to know for sure before i buy it tomorrow

yes. to my knowledge, it is still very popular, and has lots of people playing. even moreso than some more modern RPGs or whatnot. great game. you won't be disappointed.

Yes. Even the original Diablo works just fine if you are getting the Battlechest.
