Can you exit to desktop in unreal tournament 3

I have windows 8. Is there any way you can exit to desktop in ut3 ?

On your keyboard, there should be a Window key that mostly works. The times that it doesn't work, there should be a house icon in the upper-left hand corner of your keyboard that always works. Lastly, use the house Alt+Tab should get you back to the desktop.

I have tryed you sugestions and they dont work. i dont want to quit the game i just want to be able to exit to desk top in the middle of a game like I did with ut 2004
