Hey!

I just built this PC online (in Canada) What do you guys think?

I was aiming for a budget around 1000$ but can go a few 100s higher. And do you guys recommend a dvd writer or a bluray reader?

Thanks!

DVD writer.

Also remove this RAM.

1600 should be at least C9 not C10... These 2x8GB cost $200. Since in gaming you only need 8GB maximum at the moment, pick 2x4GB RAM and instead of GTX760 take a GTX970 with the rest $100.

And one more thing. Try not to buy a 3TB seagate HDD... Actually avoid Seagate at 1,5TB and 3TB...

CPU and motherboard sockets don't match up. 1155's were Sandy/Ivy Bridge boards. If you're going Haswell, swap that to an 1150 mobo.

http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/qMr4P6 not sure what you were aiming at your build with the 16Gb of RAM and the 3Tb HDD but if you're aiming on gaming you should pick my build (884$) and you've got headroom for 250Gb SSD or 128Gb SSD with Windows 8.1

+1. I didn't notice that it was late :P.

You need H97/Z97 or bios updated previous LGA 1150 mobos.
