BF:BC2...good reviews but what do you guys say?

I have not picked it up yet...so how is it?

Also how should I expectit to run on my pc?

Me to, ive been able to connect to games all the time. Only one time did I get kicked out of a game half way thru. Other then that ive been able to join games and stay in games when ever I want.

The actual game itself is epic, the ea server fails and bad connection issues and down time not so epic.

Am I the only one that thinks BC 2 is just another consolized game.04dcarraher

I love how when a game like Demigod comes out with bad connectivity, it gets crucified, but when a ZOMG SHOOTER PLOX!!!!!11!1111one!!eleven comes out with worse connectivity, people are like "don't worry, its all good." Sorry, had to blow off some steam, I haven't played the game yet, and I don't know anyone that has, but I'd say wait for the servers to get straightened out.

Ive played over 100 games online and only got kicked out of one game.

"YOU HAVE BEEN KICKED FROM THE SERVER" thats the error I got ONCE out of 100+ times. not everyone is having server issues. Some of my friends are, while myself and a few other friends are not having issues.

Intense multiplayer, in par with crysis visuals (better lighting though), excellent sound design, total destruction....what more can you ask for?

needs bigger and more varied maps (especially for conquest).

I wish it had bots, to be honest.

Also, people soak up too many bullets before dying, and there isn't that satisfying feeling I got with MW2 when I kill somebody. I know I know, I don't really like MW2 either, but it did have that refreshing "booyah!" feeling when you killed somebody in it.

this game is so amazingly fun its not even funny.

its definately a bit different than previous titles, but all the important stuff is still there. Its such an amazing game, and in a couple patches it will be technically perfect as well.

The sound is so wonderful.

The SP is forgettable, it has serious connectivity problems for a lot of people (I've had a few hitches, but a few of my friends are having a bad run of it) and not enough servers. In short it's not as good as BF2, and I don't consider it a 9/10.

All that said, the multiplayer (although clunky) is a great deal of fun with the destructible environments and what not.

Buy it.

Single player is fun, although the story is lame. Can't really comment about online as I'm finding it hard as to connect. I connected the first day I got it, but from them on nothing... (disclaimer: I really haven't tried too hard to connect, I have more important things to do)CellAnimation

True but the game does feel that it has some sort of par with Crysis although the CryEngine is technology advanced in other ways ( physics, ToD etc )

I just got the limited edition from PlaySpan.com for the same price as the regular edition so I am pretty amped. If you use coupon code UGC10PC you also get 10% off, so I would def say this game is worth that price. So far I really really like it. I haven't seen huge connectivity issues yet but I havent been playing that long.
