crap DRM when you have to use steam to activate is annoying enough... but this type of DRM should be illegal.

So its monitoring your PC illegally for any hardware changes and if you make too many it will de-activate you game. How is this legal exactly? You should be allowed to install a game you own on as many PCs as you own and if you change your hardware as often as you want. EA really wants to win that worst company award again.

people must stop buying EA games, or at least pirate their shit till they learn

I fully agree, and I never buy EA. I will literally pirate their games before I will buy them (which means i never play EA games since they're all corporate tainted garbage), they are just that despicable.

Glad I never had any interest in this $60 BF4 mod, but this does not bode well for future EA titles that might be desirable, such as Battlefront 3. Perhaps if people raise a big stink now it be prevented in the future.
