Hi people,

I have some time booked off work next month and i'm looking to either start playing Fallout 3 or Skyrim again from scratch!

I would just like to know if anyone knows of some really good graphic mods that will make the games look beautiful and make my rig work its pants off?

Looking for high res texture packs that are available through steam if possible

Fallout 3 I recommend the fallout wanderers edition mod for gameplay and NMC's texture pack. Basically the top 5 mods on the nexus:

Skyrim has steam workshop support which makes things easier. There are official texture packs to try first, but you will probably find better ones from the community. There's also plenty of other graphics mods like weather, water, ice etc

Good luck getting it to run even half decent. I can't play FO3 for more than 15 minutes without it crashing. I hope you have better luck than I do.

If you go on youtube watch some of 'gopher's modding fallout 3 videos, he explains things like you're 5 years old and ensures nothing will go wrong.
