Advise needed on a cpu and a gpu

so my friend needs a cpu and a gpu for his pc ... his motherboard ( also his budget ) allows i3

so what is the best i3 cpu and what's the best gpu suitable for it

We need an actual number for the budget.

the i3 2120 is a good processor, can all games if its paired with a good GPU. The GPU maybe a GTX 660.

The i3 will cost about £70 and GTX 660 about £130.

+1 and also we need to know his motherboard model :P.
