Wait for new amd card is best option, june 29th is the release date, if cant wait, you can find some R9 380's or GTX 950 cards that fall within that price range.

but its best to wait.

@Hashim19: there might be further price drops while stocks last, and you would have to keep checking just to make sure they don't get sold out, but the newer tech cards will be a lot better. some of the newer cards like the RX 470 may fit into the price range it just a matter of how good their performance will be.

@Hashim19: It's not just about price drops but getting better card for the same money, you could get RX470 or GTX1050 for the same price if you're willing to be more patient.

The New Graphics Cards aren't necessarily always better, sure they can get the same performance for alot less power but if Power is not an issue then you can just go with High End Card from previous Generations like the 6970 or the 7970, granted its highly unlikely you'l find a brand new one so you'l have to set your sights on a Pre-Loved Card.....

I've often that these old cards offer better performance than all the modern cards in the same Price Bracket, if you don't have a compatible Power Supply then this Path is not for you.
