Look ok, dont really know whats going on. thought the winter soldier trailer was better than this. and with Brian Singer's track record, its not knowing if the movie will be good. but I'm still waiting for trailers of dawn of the planet of the apes and godzilla.

Pretty cool. It wasn't anything amazing but leaves much to hope for.

Figured they wouldn't show the Sentinels.

Anyways, coming from someone that doesn't care much about the franchise, that got me pretty interested. Cast is insane.

I'm still reading the comic (well more like, I keep forgetting about it) but I do remember the animated version so I actually can't wait for Days of Future Past.

Days of Future Past is one of my favorite arcs in the comics. Hoping this movie version is good too. I'll be watching it in theaters for sure.

Looks awesome. Seems more story focused and less action focused this time around, which is a good thing. I look forward to watching it.

You could put that score over a video of someone taking a dump and I'd probably see it; but luckily this doesn't look like a giant turd. Singer returning to the series (X2 ftw) and that cast...my word that cast.

If anyone is wondering about the lack of action, Bryan Singer said yesterday that the trailer is more character focused due to the effects being unfinished:

I'm so tired of Wolverine. The best thing about First Class was that they made the X-Men fresh.

Hey, don't you dare criticize Wolverine and his friends.

From the looks of it, Wolverine takes the spotlight again. One thing I loved about First Class was that Wolverine had no involvement, but that cameo was hilarious. I love Wolverine and the actor, but we need diversity.

Otherwise, this trailer was great. Can't wait to see Fassbender and McKellen!

I have three worries for this movie:

1) Bryan Singer- Bryan Singer is a total bellend when it comes down to adaptations.

2) Matthew Vaughn- Produced the best X-men movie and single handedly revived the respect for the X-men series, but Fox removed him to make way for Singer.

3) Fox- Do I need to explain?

Trailer is nice, granted it doesn't give much info in terms of what the plot is about.

Movie better be good. First Class was an amazing movie that is easily one of the best superhero movies ever made, which with how that genre has exploded in recent years with many great movies, that says a lot in terms of how much I loved First Class.

@SirSlimyScrotum:

i thought the the dark knight series and man of steel were infinitely times better than anything marvel has put out so far. The more human approach to the recent movies has always been much more entertaining.

DC / WB movies are just few and far between.

well if you don't count the hundreds of animated justice league / superman movies...

Eh considering the source material they have to work with, that trailer looked pretty boring. I didn't realize they would be combining the two generations, I thought First Class was a sort of reboot.

Also I saw (in order) Bishop, ?, Hellion, and Marrow. Anyone guess who ? is? Cannonball is my guess. Edit - its Bishop, Qucksilver (WTF?), Warpath (green?), and Blink.

As for Singer - X2 was the best X-men movie>X1>XFC>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>X3.

First Class was good as a popcorn flick, but a total mess of the lore. If you liked the X-men comics then First Class was just some alt world movie plot driven nonsense. The average viewer wouldnt care though, but they are the people that fill the seats.

I think Singer draws well from the source material whilst taking a few liberties to make it flow better on film.

PS I hate Bret Ratner, that scum, practically the Joel Schumacher of the Marvel franchise. Stick to Rush Hour 4 you hack. Sry just needed to get that outta my system.
