Wow, this is truly disgusting...

If you like hotdogs, I hope you don't follow the same path as me. Today I had two hot dogs for supper and my sister said to me "Melony, do you know what's really in hotdogs? Look it up and you'll see why I don't eat them". So I go and look for an answer and I think I came close to throwing up. My sister said to me "A hotdog has everything in it except the squeal (when the animals die)". It has all these scraps from animals and the amount of salt they put in there is so gross. I can't believe I ate them, I don't think I'll eat one again. What are your thoughts? Here's a link as well.

Read "The Jungle" by X Sinclair (I can't recall the first name :P ) It is a book based off of the infamous Chicago sawmills and 'bubbly creek'. It has a detailed description of what went into breakfast sausages. Waaaaaaay more disgusting.OPRFWrestler112

I never get anything supersized anyway. I always get the QuarterPounder with Cheese or a BigMac meal and a strawberry shake or hotfudge sundae... maybe some nuggets on the side.

I don't understand. If you've been eating a pig's hooves and penis all this time, and thought it was delicious, then how is it suddenly not delicious now that you know you're eating hooves and penis?

And it still has to pass safety standards, so you know that it's safe to eat.

I dont get this? Are you concern with the parts of the animal that go in it? Because when youve seen someone eat a bull's testicles then you dont really care what else they put in the food. If its the salt content then just eat sausages they taste better anyway.hagadorn

Well actually its a snack, if you dont eat it then the meat is pretty much wasted. I think that people these days over react about meat. Have you ever seen an animal being slaughtered? Most people these days who see that have a big problem with it but i think that is where the problems with obesity and unhealthy eating come from. It would seem that people are afraid to see the whole process of slaughtering and butchering animals and they would rather just eat the processed crap that you get from McDonalds and Burger King.
