NZ seems depressing. So, Australia.

Australians have a higher standard of living, Higher Wages, Lower unemployment, Greater resources, Superior Universities, Better Infrastructure. Do what alot of Australian's do, Spend your working life in Australia and then retire and move to NZ.

I live in Bendigo right now, but I might like to live in a place like Melbourne or Sydney one day.

I would love to visit either place, but New Zealand has some of the most breath taking scenery I have ever seen, and this is just from TV and internet images. Can you imagine what it would look like in real life?

Plus New Zealand is a laid back place I hear, and it was where LOTR was filmed, so it wins by default :P

It sounds like the only thing that would keep someone from wanting to be there is money issues. Independent wealth and property in New Zealand would turn me into an alien -- legal or illegal, whichever one were required.

I loved it there. If it hadn't been for responsibilities here I could not shrug off, I would have moved there permanently years ago.

I guess I am not as impressed with so many things to do. I just want a quiet life in an Eden-esque garden.
