Well, I used to be back in early 90's. Back when Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Big Bossman, Macho Man Randy Savage. and etc. Now, it just lame than hell. I try to watch but I just can't. Maybe I just getting older.
[QUOTE="Dracula68"]Now would be a good time to inject some life and bring back Taker.worlock77
That'd be a good idea if they could inject some life back into Taker.

Taker's a bit old.And it shows. Granted I don't watch regularly or follow it that closely anymore, but what I've seen of him the past couple of years he's looked pretty lifeless. It kinda seems like he's tired of it, but doesn't quite want to give up the money.

That's not happening. His knees are shot.Brock Lesnar is the only reason why I wanna watch WWE.m25105They jobbed him to Cena in his first match back....

Not sure that it "exposes" the business, but it's too slow paced for the average wrestling fan. And that's not a knock on wrestling fans. I dig both, but when I'm watching pro 'rasslin' I want to see action. I want to see people bouncing off the ropes, flying off turnbuckles and smacking each other in the head with folding chairs.

I agree. What I meant is that when Pro Wrestlers who don't tap out to devastating IRL MMA moves like a kamura just exposes it as painfully scripted. When Cena gets locked into an arm submission for five minutes screaming and then pops back up to do his shoulder block and Firemans carry it's just silly.Taker's a bit old.[QUOTE="DeadMan1290"][QUOTE="worlock77"]

Well in WWE's website they were asking the fans if Austin was necessary to get rid of Laurinitis.... But, John Cena took care of that...Taker's a bit old.[QUOTE="DeadMan1290"][QUOTE="worlock77"]

Which is why he only appears at Wrestlemania now, to continue his winning streak and make big bucks once a year, or at least a few weeks before Wrestlemania just to build hype...[QUOTE="worlock77"][QUOTE="Nuck81"] An MMA style doesn't work in pro wrestling. Frank Mir could take John Cena's arm, lock it on the Kimura and he wouldn't last a minute. They're just making Brock look more dangerous with that. I prefer the F-5 though.I love it , im sad Big Johnny is gone tho :( he was soo cool!! great heel and made raw and smackdown interesting, now we gotta deal with Teddy long , a FACE GM won't work out, AussieePethah, I agree. and f*ck this super cena business, so boring. OH LOOK HE'S OVERCAME THE ODDS YET AGAIN
Oh one more thing this Santino CRAP has to end, im sick and tried of these joke matches, Ryback needs to face someone in the WWE, im tried of his predictable 2 on 1 matches , im tried of funkasaus winning each match CMpunk defending tittle for 7 months and Shamus rarely loses , Cena is always in a big main event even tho i don't mind lol , but seriously sick of the joke matches with Santino !!AussieePetSantino sucks since the first day he came into the WWE.

I wasn't talking about him wrestling. Let's face facts...the best wrestlers are all old now.
Daniel Bryan and CM Punk are just as good as many of those old wrestlers were.
not even close.[QUOTE="JML897"][QUOTE="Dracula68"]

not even close.Absolutely. In the ring Daniel Bryan is a better technical wrestler than Austin, Rock, Triple H, Foley, Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, or Undertaker ever were.
Austin and Rock were still inarguably more entertaining overall when they were in their prime but it seems like a lot of people take the whiny "it was so much better in the past" attitude way too often when it comes to wrestling. A lot of the guys today are vanilla but there are still some gems.

Totally agree. If people would take off their rose colored glasses they'd see that those three guys in particular really aren't any worse than the majority of people in the past.

They could at least act like the WWE Championship means something, though. Cena could still be in big feuds but put his match second to last on a PPV if he's not going for the belt.
I looked it up recently and the WWE Title has only been the main event at 1 of the last 8 PPVs. 1 of those was the Royal Rumble and the other 6 were John Cena non-title matches. Cena wasn't even on the show for the one PPV that the WWE Title main evented.

Personally all their championships have felt meaningless for years. Ever since they came up with that lame roster split and multiple championships.

Despite what I just said I still think the WWE Title means a little bit. For the rest of them I totally agree with you. Belts like the US Championship and Intercontinental Championship are basically just "congrats, you're the best of the guys we don't really care about" and they haven't tried to have a good tag division in years either.

Ever since they kept the Spinner WWE Title, I stopped caring for it. I care more for the World Heavyweight Championship, it looks more legit.[QUOTE="JML897"][QUOTE="worlock77"]

They're supposedly replacing the spinner belt soon but the belt that they're rumored to be replacing it with looks even worse. :(

I think the WHC should've stayed with Raw. SmacDown! can keep the WWE Title and all it's spinning goodness.[QUOTE="worlock77"]

Well the Intercontinental Championship use to mean a great deal as well. It was still, at one point, a prestigious title and the IC champion was automatically considered the #1 contender for the top title.
