obviously han shot first because greedo died but why would anyone think greedo shot first?comrade_sniperrMaybe Greedo was a terrible shot, and Han had superior reaction skills.
[QUOTE="comrade_sniperr"]obviously han shot first because greedo died but why would anyone think greedo shot first?BranKetraHe was more aggressive at the time, making him the first to shoot and the first to miss. Greedo shot him at point blank, with the gun aiming directly at Han's head. The explanation? Those guys with the flutes. They blew so hard into those things that it caused the lazer to fly to the right a bit. Then, Han noticed this in the split second and used this to shoot Greedo.
[QUOTE="Master_Greedo"]Ugh...-911-Hey Greedo never died, he's here on GS! :o I was all happy when I saw Greedo in the thread title, but then it was just another stupid "who shot first, Han or Greedo or Gnarls Barkley" thread. :(

Or maybe...blaster technology had its drawbacks.....like an off-center shot every once in a while? That sounds a little more appealing, personally.
In the original 1979 release, Han shot first. Some crybaby whiners said Han Solo was evil for doing that or something. That's why if you look closely you can see a skip in the frame when Han Solo moves his head like the exorcist and Greedo shoots marginally quicker.1977. Sorry, but it was released in 1977.
So yes, in the original cut, Han shot first, in the rerelease in the 90s Greedo did.

Apparently Han has Gumby super powers in the remake. :| That's the main reason why I refuse to buy any Star Wars DVDs besides the original editions.
