He is indeed amazing. Haven't heard his solo albums but his work with RHCP is awesome. J. Loren Wince is also another amazing musician.

lol, yeah i know, his first and second cds were great cause they were still good music, but they were also funny to listen to with all the screaming freak outs he had

but when he cleans up like on to record only water for 10 days, and shadows collide with people hes just absolutely amazing
