Ubuntu 10.10. I only use Windows for gaming. What a terrible operating system Windows is...savebatterywhich version of windows are you running? i find windows 7 to be one of the best, if not the best OS ive ever used.

I just like the way OSX looks. Although, Apple is looking to ruin that by slowly turning Mac OS into iOS.

I have XP Pro SP3 and Windows 7 Ultimate installed. Both are slow, unstable, and not very secure in comparison to other operating systems I use regularly (Ubuntu, PC-BSD). On top of that, Windows is very in my way all the time. The OS is always trying to grab my attention, ask for confirmations, whatever. And screw antivirus, defragging, disk clean ups, and any of the rest of the maintenance involved with Windows. The only thing Windows has going for it is compatibility. It's a very bad operating system, but it's compatible with so much more software and hardware than Linux, BSD, or Mac. The only reason I ever use any version of Windows is when I can't get something to run on Linux or BSD.

i 100% agree with that. i heard from my apple fan friend that they want to replace finder with the iOS file management. i was like WTF, and even he, the biggest apple buff i know, was really P-O'd. apple tries way too hard to simplify IMO, which is why i prefer microsoft and linux software.
iOS; I'm using an app I built to browse the forums here.kamikaze_pigmycool. im glad to hear that someone is using the tiny pit of open source the iOS has left.

I use all three.
Windows for everyday use, work, gaming and in college.
OSX for everyday use (backup to the PC) and also to use something different
Linux for use in college, work, and for tinkering with.
Not on the list:
Amiga OS 4 mainly for tinkering around with. I used to have BeOS. But, I like Amiga OS better.

That's one of the reasons I refuse to buy a MacBook Pro(along with the price). I like iOS, but it only works in handheld touch devices like the iPhone or iPad. If I get a laptop, I want a fully functional computer with a fully functional OS.
