[QUOTE="themajormayor"]IsraelHiddaiI'm driving to Jerusalem on Thursday you can come if you want ;) Sounds really nice. Hope you have fun.
I'd love to revisit the European Mediterranean coast.
But...... we have a road trip planned to the western and southwestern U.S. before the summer is out. Gotta check on our other house (plus our rental storage unit) in AZ and visit family n friends in the surrounding states. Not bad. But, I wouldn't mind sunning by the Med with skimpily clad Euro women nearby.
If I could go any where? I'd always wanted to see the land of the rising sun, or South Korea or Malaysia. Otherwise Turkey.m25105
The Antalya region is great. It's been a magnet for German tourists. I know there was a lot of them when we had our family vacation there. I heard the number of Russian tourists there have also increased.Â
I always wore shades so the wife won't catch me ogling the women. But, my grinning gave me away.

I'm going to New Orleans in august for my birthday - just going for food. FightingfanGo to Cafe Du Monde and get beignets for breakfast. Morning Call in City Park also has good beignets if you're out there. Get a muffaletta at Central Grocery for lunch one day... it's where the sandwich was invented.
1. Egypt - pyramids et al (well not atm)
2. Istanbul (bugger)
3. Greece (is anywhere ok?)
4. Cambodia - Angkor Wat
5. Peru - Machu Picchu
6. After seeing another post I'd add in Jordan - Petra
idk, somewhere in europe, italy, england, france, that general area. i also wanna explore my homeland (canada) a bit more. not really too keen on vacations tho.

I don't wanna go to your typical tourist place where they'll charge me $50 for some crawfish. I'll have to take a pic of this on my phone when I find it - those aren't those kind of places, right?

Those places have both tourists and locals. Central Grocery is less known to tourists. It's an old grocery store that has a counter to order a muffaletta sandwich... which they invented. Cafe Du Monde is one of the most famous places in New Orleans. It is outside under a covered patio. You just sit down and a waiter will come to you and you order. Whenever I go I get a plate of 3 beignets and hot chocolate. Like I said, it's famous, but both locals and tourists like it. It's not just for tourists.
Mexico probably, I went to Puerto Vallarta in January and now I'm saving up to go to Cancun next year around the same time.Â
What if you accidentally wander into NK and are captured? :o Then I guess you guys will never hear from me again. I'll be starting a new life in Best Korea spending all of my free time looking at things.[QUOTE="megagene"]I'd love to go to South Korea so I could see where my parents came from and get in tough with my roots. Canada (English Speaking areas) does seem to be the most relatable to the U.S. I went to Vancouver felt like the states, but was kind of different at the same time. Cool city.

Portugal=full of history, nice weather, beautiful cities and landscape etc. Canada=snow I'm not interested in historical buildings especially after seeing them 10X times (wouldn't be my first visit there), much rather look at the amazing landscapes and scenery Canada has to offer, would be able to take some amazing pictures. I like snow and the weather is normally mild this time of year right? Also in Canada I wouldn't have to deal with annoying my cousins.
