When were you the happiest?

So much negativity (depression, the death penalty, earthquakes, Fox News, System Wars...). It can't be good for us.

SO THEN let's recall happy moments. Personally I was the happiest in the summer of 2012 when I started going out with my (now ex) girlfriend. No school, nothing but the beach, sun, party and the girl I loved throughout all summer... can't get much better than that!

i would say when i was a child even though i remember having a horrible child hood. at least i had real laughs back then.

When were you the happiest?

The day that I lost my Virginity at a very young age. Happiest moments of my life.

@davillain-: curiously, of the summer I mentioned in the OP, the day I lost my virginity wasn't the happiest day, or even one of the happiest. Granted the happiest days did include sex nonetheless.

back when i was 13,14 YO. summers were so magical back then even at that age i knew i wouldn't be that happy later in my life.

I'd have to say right now. I pretty much am the person I tried hard for so long to become, have achieved what I've worked hard to get and don't really want much more out of life. If I were to die tomorrow I don't think I'd have any regrets.

I've never been happy for any substantial period of time; I know that's too dismal for this topic but it is what it is.

There is, however, a silver-lining. Now that I'm standing on my feet I no longer view a lack of happiness as a misfortune in need of alleviation; instead, happiness has become an absurdity that I have no interest in pursuing or achieving. Happy people are lethargic and stagnant; let them get a whiff of misfortune and they panic cowardly, tell them to climb an incline and they flee momentarily-I have no interest in becoming a tender sheep.

I'm either always happy or never. There wasn't a substantial amount of time when I would say I was happy. I find happiness in little things in life if that counts. So maybe, everyday.

I don't think that I was ever truly happy.

If I was good-looking and was more successful with women and had more friends then I would be happy but since I am not successful with women and I don't have any friends then I don't think that I can be truly happy being a lonely and sad virgin for the rest of life.

2006-2011 was a good time for me personally. Damn the days fly by. I enjoyed everything about that time span well just about everything.

I finished high school, college was a fun and stressful experience-- I also liked the music, movies, and games during that time span. I met my wife in 2009, Memorable memories with friends, and family.

I'm 22 and haven't experienced such a thing called "happiness" ...i'm trying tho.

I sing the moderator anthem (which is, naturally, ultra secret) every day first thing in the morning and last thing at night.

Probably when I left home and moved in with some friends in another state. Made good money, friend owned a bar, chicks all weekend long and I spent my free time making chainmail shirts and playing Pokemon. A typical Saturday would be we'd wake up, get some breakfast, go back to the apartment, play some music at unreasonably loud volume while grabbing books to go and play D&D, play until the early afternoon. Then go to a LARP and spend the afternoon fighting each other. After the shower, get some chow, hang out and play video games until early evening. Then change, go to the bar, and party all night.

I never thought you could be a geek, still be cool, and still get chicks. Those days proved me wrong.

yeah. from about the age of 6 to around 10 or 11. That was my happiest time.

Well now I just feel unsatisfied with life.

If I could give the gift of that time of my life to everyone who asked for it, I'd do it. So many adventures, misadventures, and just plain fun with no regrets. Well if I had one regret, it would be that I didn't enjoy it more.

I'd say 2005 - 2008. Ha, so the best time of my life was in this century. Just not this decade. Course, even this decade I had some good times, now 2011, that was a good year.
