i was working in my yard today and realized how awesome it would be if trees evolved as they would now. they would be HUGE and would reproducde incredibly fast since we cut them down so quick. but the best part is, their newly evolved defense system. something like the roots sensing vibrations above grounds so the limbs swing down and grab a person, tearing them in half. what a great idea for a movie. why hasn't hollywodd picked this up yet?

There is a book you might like entiteled "Day Of The Triffids". You should check it out if you thought your idea was cool...

Sounds like a Lose-Lose situation to me. We could easily win a war against trees, but the we'd all die of carbon dioxide poisoning.
