When should I expect WaterWorld 2 to come out?

I am surprised that such a great movie did not get a sequel. I really hope they come out with one. Dennis hopper can return as the villian as a cyborg alien

The first Water World was the most expensive movie of it's time, it ain't worth 2 cents to make another one. I'm not saying it was a bad movie at all, it was good, just not worth the money for that kind of movie. Movie made $264 million, was the #4 PG-13 movie of the year, that's not bad at all. So the only thing that really went wrong was that it cost so much to make and shouldn't have been attempted in the first place. Nobody remembers it except for being a flop so they assume it's terrible but it's fine, it's just doing too much for what it is.

@Korvus Water World is an old 90s movie that's Mad Max in Water, not the dessert. The sea level rise from Antarctica meltdown. Like I said, it's old but it's good.
