Do you give him any?? Why or why not?

Sometimes small change. I'm worried they just buy alchohol/other drugs with it though, so I'd prefer giving them some food.
I tell him to get out of my sight and yell at him "PARASITE!" as he runs away, I might give him a shot of electro bolt just to keep him running.
But seriously, I wouldn't give him money because he would use it for beer.
my friend has a huge heart, and on 2 occasions she really got pwnd hard trying to be nice with homeless guys
the first time she offered some dude food instead and the guy got angry and started cursing at her (i had to tell the dude to chill)
and the second time she offered food again and we had him follow us to a Carls Jr. that close by, and the guy ended up ordering half of the damn menu
she didnt wanna be mean so she didnt stop him LOL
so the moral of the story is, dont feed the trolls... i think
Only if they are old and helpless, a young individual might probably be able toget some kind of job to pay for his daily meal and shelter if he spent some time looking for one instead of laying on the floor asking for money. :D
Nope, as long as I see them make an effort of actually getting up and doing something for a change. I hate liars too and I can easily detect them. Once this guy said he needed gas and his said his car was over there. I waited 5 mins and the car had already left from a different person. Looked at him straight into the eyes and told him to GTFO.
Sometimes. If I'm somehow preoccupied - walking with someone or needing to get somewhere by a certain time - I'm much less likely to give them money. But if I'm on my own and there isn't anywhere I need to be soon, I might give them some spare change or a dollar. They probably need the money a lot more than I do, and it's a good way to buy off guilt.
One times I'd never forget was when I was on a somewhat date with some chick and we stopped at McDonald's and some guy was walking up to us and I basically told him know before I heard him out because I thought he was asking for money, but after I understood what he said he turned around and walked away and sat by himself. He asked if he could have a few fries. I got up and gave him my whole thing of fries and he was mad happy. Usually I don't give homeless people my money, but occasionally I do, but if someone asks me for food I don't think I'd ever be able to turn them down.
Usually I refuse, but I've given to a homeless guy last month, although that was only because he's pretty old and has been homeless since I was a kid. Usually he spends whatever money he can to get on the bus and make use of the warmth.
There was this bloke who asked me for a pound so that he could get something from McDonalds as he apparently hadn't eaten in days. I was on my through town, so I had plenty of food on me. I offered him a choice of the bacon sandwich I'd bought fresh 5 minutes earlier, or a banana. He said he'd rather just go to McDonalds  so I just told the guy to get stuffed and popped a pound into a collection box instead.
I've been pretty generous with giving them money, but sometimes when they don't show any appreciation such as even a mere thank-you I don't give them any more lol
