when a band, rapper, or singer gets famous, why do they stink.

I wanna really know why underground artists are good, but suck when they go mainstream.

Are we talking about bodily odor or skill level?

I disagree. If an underground band is good, it will remain good even when famous, except if they drastically change their sound.

They don't always 'stink', but sometimes they are forced (and sometimes not forced) to change their musical stylings in order to make more money. This irritates loyal fans and is referred to as 'selling out'.

Because making money from your music automatically makes you a loser.

That isn't always true. Artists like Nas and Outkast are mainstream and yet they still have underground credibility. But alot of times when an artist comes up the record company pressures them to change their sound, which makes them not as good. It's selling out.
