I'm pretty new to the drinking world, but so far, I love stouts, porters, some reds, a lot of farmhouse ales, and most ambers.
What about you guys? What are your favorite "kinds"?

Don't mind a pint of Guinness or any other stout every now and again. Lager is ok although it tastes like p!ss on a bad day.
Cider is nice.
Pretty hard to go wrong with a good IPA.

I swear I have never had a good IPA. I just don't understand liking the intense hops.I like all kinds. Lately my most drank type is IPA. There are just so many great IPA's out there. Also had quite a bit of fat tire last weekend which is an amber.

I swear I have never had a good IPA. I just don't understand liking the intense hops. Try and start out with ligher hoppy beers like regular pale ales. Also, Kona Brewing makes a really good light IPA. I think its called Big Wave.I like all kinds. Lately my most drank type is IPA. There are just so many great IPA's out there. Also had quite a bit of fat tire last weekend which is an amber.

[QUOTE="battlefront23"]I do enjoy a lot of "different" types. My favorites "are" porters, stouts, and IPAs. You suckI'm pretty new to the drinking world, but so far, I love stouts, porters, some reds, a lot of farmhouse ales, and most ambers.

I swear I have never had a good IPA. I just don't understand liking the intense hops. IPA is hit & miss for me. Mainly because a lot of breweries over hop them in order to hide their flaws. Before ruling them out though, give Bells Two Hearted Ale a try. There are a lot of hops there but with a pleasant malt balance.I like all kinds. Lately my most drank type is IPA. There are just so many great IPA's out there. Also had quite a bit of fat tire last weekend which is an amber.

[QUOTE="thegerg"][QUOTE="KiIIyou"]The kind I was getting were Smirnoff Ice, though I can't seem to find their watermelon flavour anymore unfortunately. There are a few other flavours I know they still make, pineapple is one and it's one I still gotta try. KiIIyouThose are not beer.I'm embarrassed :3
however, watermelon beer does exist, though i've heard it's not very good
