I love all of that stuff! I don't listen to much pop any kind though! But I love JRPG but I still love RPGs as well! I may have crushes on hot Japanese chicks but that makes me me :) And Im proud of it!

the only thing i see wrong with todays gen is that they cant listen to their parents if we did the same thing wed be grounded , which means we have less good parents and more bad ones be ware when some 15 yr old takes your lawn ornament theyll most likely get away with it ,

Everything is literally at peoples fingertips these days... it's so much easier to fall into something that isn't in your own culture. Teenagers these days aren't content with merging into/creating a culture based around their own environment, its much easier to jump on another train.

The same thing that was wrong with yesterday's teenagers, and the same thing that will be wrong with tomorrow's teenagers.

Probably not the day after, since it was originally just a toy for rich people that pretty much only showed news channels (all three of them!), but yeah, probably pretty soon after.

I'd like to see a stat that says more teenagers listen to J-Pop over pop. That MIGHT be the case here on gamespot OT but in real life I'd assume (American) teenagers are 100 times more likely to listen to "regular" American pop music. Same for a lot of the other things you mentioned.

It wasn't too long ago that youths in many non-Western cultures started to wear t-shirt and jeans on the streets. In the workplace, the Western style suit and tie became an international standard. Traditional forms of entertainment in their cultures were gradually replaced by Hollywood movies, while their traditional music were replaced by hits from Madonna and Michael Jackson.

It seems like people are taking the prominence of Western culture in the world for granted.
