Whats the thing called where your stuck between heaven and hell?

Hope you wasnt put off by the title; i am just woundering what is the name where you are stuck between heaven and hell? and what uses it? like tvshows movies etc?

purgatory is for adults, limbo is for children who die prior to baptism and so still have original sin. both are neither heaven nor hell.

purgatory is for adults, limbo is for children who die prior to baptism and so still have original sin. both are neither heaven nor hell.thephoenix365

there was something like that i recall as well, tbh i switch off when the nitty gritty of Catholic theology is changed, the braod point remains the same.
