Hah, I learnt that years before I started to practise guitar. That's how easy it is. >_>The same thing most people learn first. Smoke on the Water. :P

Extreme - More Than Words. Isn't that the first song everybody learns on guitar? Back in the day it was almost a rule. megagene
For me it wasEvery Rose Has Its Thorn, but More Than Words was either number 2 or 3. Wish You Were Here ranks up there as well.

Enter Sandman... Darth-CaedusI thought you hated it :P Anyways for me it was Sanitarium by Metallica.
Technically the first song I learned on bass was Survivalism by NIN because it's just the second string open to the rythm of the song, but the first song I ever tried to learn was Revelations by Iron Maiden, followed by Heaven Beside You by Alice In Chains.
As for the actual guitar I only know Silent Lucidity by Queensryche and Smoke on the Water.
