Books, pencils, Discman with some CDs, a crumpled $5 bill or two, and a spare box cutter (lived in a rough neighborhood).
The postman bag trend started when I was in High School, which meant I just had to have a leather postman bag instead of a backpack 😄
In my bag I had books, pencils, one eraser if I was lucky, one notebook with squared patterns on the sheets because I mainly cared about nerd subjects like physics, mathematics and programming. Oh and let's not forget about gum and breath mints!
My walkman with some cassette tapes and some cigs most of my books where in my locker I also had gym shorts sometimes in there I'm sure I had pencils in the front zipper.
This is the same backpack I had.
Mine was just textbooks, a pencil case, a lunchbox. Bringing video games like GBC, GBA, DS was quite rare.
Books, a lot of books. I even did that in college which was stupid, because I rarely read on campus. Def glad I don’t carry heavy books anymore
My Walkman and some of my cassette tapes. Extra batteries for the Walkman if I was lucky. My sketchbook, pencils, pens, and various other art supplies. Never textbooks. Those stayed in my locker at school since I'd need them in homeroom to do my homework the next day before class started.
