Movies (and media in general) set in New York City. That place no longer fascinates me anymore, you don't need to default to it. There are plenty of other cities that could use the attention. Also, movies set in one place yet filmed in another.
Scenes that feel out of place/break the pace (like the "torture" scene in Reservoir Dogs) Poor use of Slow mo, Bad dialogue, cliche dialogue, bad attempts at humor, I could go on.
Emotional manipulation where they cynically use every trick in the book in an attempt to induce audience tears. And when they use the music to tell you how you're supposed to feel about what's happening.
Bad things involving fingernails. Anything gore is OK, but f*ck that **** BrrrrMrPraline
I think the cringe factor would come by the fact that it's not as intensly insane as getting chopped in half. It's like, eww that could actually happen to me.
When someone gets a very bad knee injury or their leg is crushed etc, after dislocating my knee 2 times this is a habbt i have and cant shake and makes me cringe every time.
That and the cheap horror jumps in movies because they pump up the volume for a second ot two.
The scene in Lady Vengeance where the families are together at the schoolhouse and they're watching the video. The scene with the pipe wrench and the pedophile in I Saw the Devil. Whenever the main character's children are on screen in The War of the Worlds.
Cheesy happy music that quietly plays when the protagonist is talking to someone possibly over something comedic or if the protagonist likes the other person. When in Horror movies the protagonist barely escapes alive or just about to succeed and then the twist happens, they fail and gets killed. Kids acting sometimes particularly in adult movies because they try to convey such innocence which in the end feels cheesy.
When an actor is supposed to be drinking something in a scene and you can clearly tell that no form of liquid has passed their lips. Also, probably one of the things that bugs me the most are fake explosions. I get it! Ball-shatteringly awesome explosions are an art form, but you seriously can't replicate it using a computer, so just don't bother. The same goes with blood splatters in modern day films. I hate the look of digitally rendered blood. You're not fooling anyone with this sh*t, and it only serves to take you out of the film.

I can't even tell what happened in that scene. Did she just stab him? No, she cut his dick off. He deserved it though. If there's a woman holding a scissors to your junk and you're dumb enough to call her a stupid f*cking c*nt, then you deserve to lose your manhood. :P
I can't stand seeing cheesy and overly dramatic romance. Thats why I can't watch Twilight even though I like the books - it just works better in the mind.
