me and my friends were arguing between Magic, Yugioh and Pokemon.

Magic is a much deeper and more complex game than either of the two.
Yu-Gi-Oh is easier to get into but relies far too muhc on tricks to dump your hand and win in 3 turns or less.
Pokemon has always just been an excuse to sell toys. I think more people collect them than actually play the cards.

Texas Hold 'Em and Black Jack.

I like Yu-Gi-Oh because of its fast playing style and lack of card rotation (I hate set rotation, it's my biggest gripe with Magic).
I never actually played any of the games, but I collected Pokemon cards for a good portion of my childhood. I still have the damn things, though I doubt they'll ever be worth anything one day.SoNin360I really messed up not selling my pokemon cards back when they were still hot. I had a couple binders worth of holo cards and probably could've made hundreds of dollars. Now they're probably worth a nickel.
