Seriously, what is it? Ive seen shows on TV where theres a couple and one of the two just happens to say "I love you" and they get all freaked out. They wind up breaking up, why is this? And yes ive tried googling it but I need a more clear answer. Enlighten me please OT.

yeah i have never understood that..... without knowing how crazy it was to say it, i told my girlfriend (ex now) that i loved her, and she was like "What?! NO we cant be going that fast, lets talk this over....blehblahbleh" it was stupid we went on until like 230 am talking about knowing each other and stuff.... it was retarded.....i just broke up with her cause i felt so restricted. never tell your girlfriend you love her. unless she is a sex addict or has married you. NEVER

I have learned that the definition of love depends on whoever you are with. Dont say it to the picky girls. Or the really girly girls. They hate it. I have a girlfriend now, and i say it all the time to her. Love.....to me, personally, i dont know, just intensly liking someone....just remember to really be careful if you say it

It's like feeling apart of somebody. For example, I love my parents because of how much they've influenced my personality. You can love your child if you feel that they are an extension of yourself, ect. That's what it is to me anyways.

Depends on who you ask, if you ask someone with a degree in psychology they will answer that Love is a kind of insanity

Others will say that it is a kind of addiction. (and somewhatlinked to thesubstance known as Dopamin)

To me Love the feeling of truely belonging with another person, Its obsessive, projecting and utterly painful (even when it goes right)

Love is when you feel the "soul" move. Makes you want to shead tears whenever you see the person, and ask for nothing from that person, expecting nothing in return.

Sadly I don't think that one can sustain Love for one person throughout thier entire lifes, the illusion shatters, and the flaws you admired so much, becomes an annoyance.

Must be romantic tho, to be killed by a person youre in love with, wouldnt it? somehow it would feel allright to end like that.

And yeah Im a mental case :s
