It means... emotional evolution. Of course it's not that simple. I also used it for the reason that it gets peoples attention. I myself do not believe in this perceived ideology of emo, and it seems to me that most the people who talk about emo approach it from a negative perspective, when what they're really talking about has been around for a very long time. This word emo is really new. I don't really see anyone else calling themselves emo. It's turned into a word people toss around as an insult. And so that's why I used it. I'm such a rebel.
It's a reference to Dante's father in the the Devil May Cry games. The six is just a random number and the underscore was used so the two "k's" wouldn't touch.Â
My ex-ex-ex girlfriend's name was Jamie, and she was at my place when I was making my GS account, so she basically made my password and name and everything. We were just making a profile to ask about how to get past this part on some GBA game, but I never expected to get hooked on the place :P

Only after did I find out about the details of the two MSX Metal Gear games (and Gray Fox's contributions to them) and the creation of the "FOX Unit" in Metal Gear Solid 3 did the name take on some deeper connotations.
It is relatively unique though, which I am happy about looking back. There are plenty of "Solid Snake's" on Gamespot but very few Foxhound's.

not really much. i was setting up my psn account trying to think of something and was like i love metal music and im a dude so metaldude stuck. ive always used the number 05 in accounts so i added that, it was always my sports uniform number as a kid and is also the year i graduated
My very first excursion into the land of interweb forums was when I was 13 and a fan of Digimon. Gabumon was my favorite character in the series, so I used that as my screen name there. I'm not at that forum anymore, but I had become attached to the name when I left, so I dropped the "mon" to distance it from its origins and became simply Gabu.
As for the "Ex", "Gabu" was taken and I absolutely hate the whole "random numbers at the end" thing so I decided to add "Ex" instead because I thought it sounded way cooler than "Gabu2353". It has no significance beyond that.
