For me it had terrible acting, but it was well filmed and had a nice twist, even if it was a typical twist. I was suprised to see Jaime Lannister in it, though.
It was an okay movie overall I guess.
Thoughts?

I really liked it. Same guy who filmed Tron I believe so I'm a fan. Lol jaime lannister the unsung hero. To say the truth him being in it made the movie for meMotokid6Yeah, same for me. :P
The plot was... interesting. It wasn't too predictable but it did leave one question unanswered which is a spoiler alert.
What about the other copies of Jack Harper?
Other than that, the visuals and machinery were incredibly gorgeous.
It was a pretty cool gameTheFallenDemon
I tried playing Oblivion after Skyrim but I couldn't, just could not play it.
Felt like a huge downgrade.

I agree on that. I can never go back to it.

It was a pretty cool gameShadowsDemon

I agree on that. I can never go back to it.It's not a downgrade. Especially if you got it on PC with all them sweet mods. I very much so like the attributes present in Oblivion, and the extra skills. I also like being able to invent my own spells and get more creative with enchanting. The setting is a lot prettier and in general I wouldn't shake a stick at Oblivion for the sake of Skyrim.
I thought the overall story was good, the ascetics of the movie (ie special effects and everything) was amazing, top notch. Â The writing of the dialogue was awful however and almost cringworthy at times. Â Overall a pretty solid movie though, definitely worth a watch.
I'd reply with your answer but I don't know how to type out the spoiler tag. :PThe plot was... interesting. It wasn't too predictable but it did leave one question unanswered which is a spoiler alert.

Oblivion skill/leveling system is pretty bad unless you mod it.I'd reply with your answer but I don't know how to type out the spoiler tag. :P

Type in
then insert the spoiler, and finally end it with
.
But don't put in spaces with the first step. Hope that helps.
The idea was that he was taken in by the "alien race" and cloned to get the job done, as well as his female partner (which her name escapes me curently). Â Each of the clones have the same memory however they were wipped and replaced with the objective to stay on the planet and fix the machines if they broke and to keep balance to kill the humans. Â If you were wondering something else then I can answer that but I'd need a more specific question.
If there was another copy of Jack Harper beyond the radioactive zone, what about the other copies of Jack Harper as well as the female clone in other areas across the planet Earth? What was their ultimate fate?
Plan on watching over the weekend, but i ended up buying the soundtrack on vinyl. Mondo always does it right
Beautiful. Serene. It had striking visuals. The whole Tet thing was genius. The small moments have room to breathe and the pace is really good. There's a dreamlike quality to it. I loved the pacing, the scenes flow one into another so nicely...
It really struck a chord with me. It's a beautiful story. Vika was the highlight of the movie. Negative comparisons with Wall-E or Moon are useless - this was written in 2005.

Oblivion skill/leveling system is pretty bad unless you mod it. Yeah, I wish someone would port the leveling system of Skyrim to Oblivion. It would make it even more amazing.SPOILERS below.
Â
I thought it was excellent. Â The first half of the movie was a bit slow, but the second half more than made up for it. Â I loved the plot twists, even if they weren't entirely unpredictable. Â The imagery of the pyramid-type alien ship with the all-seeing eye intelligence running it was interesting. Â The last of humankind taking it down was pertinent. Â Â
It was great. I loved the epic setting of the whole place, the cast of characters were a bit medicore but the strong good ones were VERY strong and good ones, the music was epic as well and I just loved the lore of the land and the world itself was really great. On top of that there's so much to do, dungeon escapades, arena battles, quests galore, so many things for one to do and with the expansion packs the fun is just doubled. It's such a great game, great score, great immersive world, great abundance of quests, and above all it's great fun. I love-
Wait....did you mean Oblivion as in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblvion or the new Oblivion movie with Tom Cruise? Oh well in that case haven't seen it.
its a decent movie if you havent been exposed to movies like the matrix or equilibrium before. if you havent seen either of those then this has some amazing potential to be a good movie for you to watch. i for one enjoyed it and will buy it for my hardcopy library at some point
