Was the Dead Hand in Zelda OoT scary (poll)

You remember this thing. I've always thought this was a step above the mummies in OoT, which were already a step above the likes of any other scary game I've played. Of course you have to take into account the era when the game was made and your age, etc.

I remember those, they scared the crap out of me.

It wasn't a really jump scare, or threaten your life type of scare. More so just a superbly weird looking thing. In any case, it's my favourite enemy in any game.

I didn't beat OoT until 9 years after I got the game those scared me so much.

zelda zombies>re zombies...in scariness. Though the ones in windwaker were not only a little cartoony, but they sounded like elephants. The twilight princess zombies kick major ass, and aren't scary at all. They look like dead cloud strifes.

The wallmasters made those levels tenser than any other game, but the hands themselves weren't that scary. It was just a feeling of impending doom

I am serious. mind you I haven't played the game in years, but the way you'd have to put the lens of truth and sometimes as soon as you did you'd find him rushing right at you used to scare me so much :(

I was 18 when OoT came out and I remember Dead Hand kinda giving me the creeps back then...the whole well and Shadow Temple levels just had a creepy atmosphere you wouldn't expect for a game rated E/10+.....Dead Hand grabs you and thus runs forward to munch on your brains.....pretty gruesome for a Zelda game and being a T rated game Twilight Princess didn't have anything that creepy I remember....makes me wonder how the 3DS portrayal will be...we'll jut have to see won't we?

The two moments that really got me in OoT (mind you I was 11 at the time it came out) were the wall masters and the first time a redead froze me.

Having faced the cybernetic nightmare known as the Cyberdemon in Doom years before OoT, this thing is a joke.
